It’s spring season here in Toronto, and I’m on a mission to discover and share the best spots in the city to admire these delicate blooms. And where better to start than at Robarts Library?
Located in the heart of Toronto, Robarts Library boasts some of the most picturesque cherry blossoms in the city. As you approach the library, you’re greeted by a burst of pinkish white blossoms, painting a picture-perfect scene against the backdrop of modern architecture. The contrast of nature’s beauty against the sleek lines of the building creates a mesmerizing sight.
Cherry Blossom Viewing
Timing is key when visiting Robarts Library for cherry blossom viewing. If you want to have photos with fewer people, going early in the day is highly recommended to beat the crowds. During my visit around 1 PM on a Wednesday, the area was already bustling with people eager to capture the perfect shot.
But here’s the thing: not all the trees had bloomed yet, which added to the excitement. Plus, the sunlight was pretty harsh that day, making it tough to get good shots, especially if you’re just using your phone.
Perfect Photo Tips
But guess what? I found a little spot near the stairs that was way less crowded. It was the perfect spot to snap some pics without folks getting in the way. Also, the architecture of the library, with its sleek lines and modern design, served as a striking backdrop, highlighting the beauty of the cherry blossoms even further. The interplay of nature and man-made structures created a captivating scene, drawing me in for more photos.
And here’s a cool tip: There’s a bench near the ice cream truck. Sit there, and you’ll get some awesome shots with the cherry blossoms in the background. Place your camera or phone in an upward angle. And for sure you’ll get fewer people photobombing your pics.
Also, make sure you bring your tripod and a remote clicker if you’re going alone! That’s how I got my new favorite photo. The tripod allowed me to capture myself and the cherry blossom tree. As a result, I now have a stunning shot that I’ll cherish forever.
After immersing myself in the serene beauty of Robarts Library’s cherry blossoms, I left feeling refreshed and inspired. It’s truly a must-visit spot for anyone seeking a tranquil escape amidst the urban landscape of Toronto.
I’m super pumped for more cherry blossom adventures in Toronto. Stay tuned for more updates!
