Obrero Seafood & Paluto Restaurant: Davao’s Newest Seafood Destination

May 2, 2018

Craving for seafood? Obrero Seafood & Paluto serves different kinds of seafood plus you can choose the cooking style of your choice. This will be Davao’s newest seafood destination.

Located at Bo. Obrero, this fresh restaurant want to satisfy their customer’s cravings for seafood. They have different kinds of fishes, shells, crabs, squids, shrimps and many more. You have the control on how you want it to be cooked either fried, steamed, grilled or others. It is kinda has a similar concept with the Dampa at the Farmer’s Market in Cubao.

The interiors of the restaurant are simple and minimalistic. I like it because it looks so clean and put together. Also, it is a good decision to make it minimalist so that the seafood would be the star. The place is spacious and quite big. It also has a 2nd floor that is ideal for reservations for special parties.

The Feast:

First, you can choose what seafood you want to eat. You can check in their aquarium and choose from their wide selection of seafood. During the time we visited the restaurant, these are the fresh seafood available:

Next, you can choose what cooking style you would want it to be cooked.
Here is the list you can choose from:

They also have non-seafood orders such as chicken, pork, beef, and vegetables.

So, here are the photos of some of the food we have tried that day:

My favorite of them all would be the Fried Crabs in Salted Egg. I’m obviously a big fan of crabs that is why this one is quite a bias. But I really love how it was fried. It isn’t too oily and you can really taste the salted egg. Better prepare that vinegar! It’s the best partner with this tasty crabs.

My 2nd favorite would be the Shrimp TomYum Soup. I love that spiciness level is mild only. Everyone would enjoy it most especially the kids. The soup really reminded me the ones in Bangkok. I really love their TomYum Soup there!

Well, look at me looking at that feast! It totally shows I’m excited to dig in already.  And its quite clear that my eyes are locked on that Shrimp TomYum Soup. haha! If you’re a seafood lover like me, you should definitely visit Obrero Seafood Paluto & Restaurant. Till next time, sweeties! ♡
