OMO, OMO, OMO!!! I just watched James Reid and Nadine Lustre live! It’s my first time to see JADINE in person!
To tell you honestly, I’ve been a lowkey fan of this loveteam. It all started when I’ve watched some of the episodes of the On The Wings of Love Teleserye. I’ve noticed that these two has really a spark. They just compliment each other. Then I heard some of their songs and I tell you their songs doesn’t really sound like OPM. The beat doesn’t sound like that typical Pinoy love song. That is why upon hearing that they’re having a concert here in Davao, I was quite excited.
Upon arriving at the venue, the lines where long. JADINE fans are really hyped and excited to see their idols. We waited in line for 1 hour for the gates to be open. Upon proceeding inside, the fans are screaming and clapping whenever JADINE faces where shown on the screens. I was quite shocked because it’s my first time to see fans club screaming their hearts out to show their love to their idols.
The show started at around 9 PM with an opening act by James Reid and Nadine Lustre singing Light it up by Major Lazer. Next song they sang was 2U by David Guetta feat. Justin Beiber. After, they performed Lean On by Major Lazer. Then, they sang James Reid’s own song Cool Down. Lastly, James Reid sang his latest song, Dangerous while Nadine Lustre was sexy dancing in a chair. Nadine Lustre was really hot there.
The 2nd act is more like its Nadine Lustre’s turn to show off with her black leather top and pants outfit. First, she sang Me, Myself and I by G-Eazy featuring Bebe Rexha. Her 2nd song was Same Old Love by Selena Gomez. Then, she performed the song Bad Liar by Selena Gomez. Her fourth song was her latest song St4y Up. Lastly, she finished her part with the song, The Cure by Lady Gaga.
The 3rd act was James Reid solo performance. He started it with his latest song Turning Up. His second song was The Life still from the latest album, Palm Dreams. The third song was Down Low. Next is Drunk In Love by Beyoncé which was my favorite because he nailed the rap part. The last song was his famous Huwag Ka Nang Humirit single.
The 4th act was James Reid and Nadine Lustre duet performance. Their first song was Knew Better / Forever Boy by Ariana Grande. The second song was James Reid’s own song, IL2LU.
The last set was with The Squad, Brent Jackson, Kiana Valenciano, Nadine Lustre and James Reid singing Kiana’s Does She Know.
Everything was so fast. I was enjoying the whole show that much that I didn’t notice the time. The show ended at around 10:30 PM. I was quite contented with it. Though, I wished they sang more of their old songs because I’m really a fan of it. But nonetheless, I enjoyed it and I was pretty amazed at James Reid’s dancing skills. He really did improve so much.
A big thanks to EKG Productions for letting us watch this concert. It was a nice experience to see your idols live. Definitely one for the books! Hope I could watch more concerts and shows like this in the future. Till next time, sweeties! ♡
