Do you know the Spice Girls, Tamagotchi, Discman, Pokemon, and Titanic? Do these words ring a bell? If yes, then you’re probably a 90’s kid. Today, 90’s fashion trends are having its comeback and the hottest one this year has been double denim.
Those things mentioned above really brings back so much childhood memories. A total #throwback feels! Its the time where you are just dealing school problems. All you want to do is just play some of your toys (your Tamagotchi maybe) and have fun. Or maybe you are just watching your favorite cartoons such as the rugrats or Pokemon. Whenever you’re thinking about it, sometimes you wish you could turn back time and experience them all over again.
While reminiscing this chill part of our lives, I decided to relive those innocent childhood days by wearing one of the most famous fashion trends in that era which is the double denim. Known as an essential to anyone’s wardrobe, the classic denim really gives a chill and easy attitude. It is definitely a must-have item! From the denim jackets, denim shorts, denim skirts, denim jeans and even denim jumpsuits.
For my double denim outfit, I decided to wear my denim jacket and my casual denim shorts. Then, I paired them with my lace shirt to soften the look a bit because denim can really give some structural look. To put on my personal cute aesthetic, I wore some dainty accessories such as the blush beret hat gold heart black leather belt, the pink pompom earrings, my small and adorable cupcake bag. And to finish my cute outfit, I wore my pink ribbon sneakers.
The clothes that I wore was really plain and basic. Double denim is quite hard to pull off. But don’t hesitate, you can add some accessories to spice your outfit up and take simple clothes to the next level. Through accessories, you can also show more about your unique personality. Accessories really do have an important part of your outfit. It can also make or break your look. So just bear in mind that even the smallest detail can give a big impact to your whole look.
