Smart Communication, Inc just announced on their social media platforms that the Grammy-nominated artist BTS will be their new ambassadors this 2021.

Early on that day, SMART teases everyone with this tweet. At first, BTS fans from the Philippines are hesitant to believe that it would be BTS finally accepting a brand from the country. But here comes the ARMY theorist in us, we started breaking down the tweet that will prove that the telco is referring to BTS.
First is the starting number of their counting. SMART started from number 7 to 1. And for BTS and ARMY, the number 7 is really important. Also numerous times this number brings nothing but all the luck in the world to BTS. As we fans say, they literally own the number 7. From the 7 members to their 7th year that leads them to many achievements especially their 3 Hot100 and their first-ever Grammy nomination.
Another clue was in the logo someone redraw the logo and formed it like the logo of BTS. Funny and hilarious it seems but it’s been like that in the fandom. ARMY really likes to break down things and find clues to connect things. It is because of the BU or the Bangtan Universe. All of the music videos of BTS are connected and do have a storyline which is why ARMY does have keen eyes for details and fast in thinking some theories.
The next clue is the words below the logo which is PASSION + PURPOSE. For ARMYs these are the two best words to describe BTS. The group is well-known to have a strong passion for everything they do especially their music and art. While having that kind of burning passion, the group is also famous for its message and supporting various initiatives and charities. BTS never slips on giving back their fans and to other people especially those who are in need. This seems to be connected with the word purpose. Also, it seems like BTS really do only accepts endorsements if the certain do have a good purpose or mission.
Still, fans are hesitating since they don’t want to clown themselves. It seems to be like a dream that a Philippine company will finally have an opportunity to work with BTS. So the whole day, we are just patiently waiting and just continuing to come up with more theories and memes.
At exactly 5 pm, SMART posted a video. Lo and behold, BTS appeared!

The whole fandom rejoices! Haha! Everyone was so happy and excited about this campaign. We can’t wait to see their ad on national television, some tarpaulins, and billboards with their faces. Also, we’re expecting that this ad will be big and amazing because BTS always has great ads and endorsements. My favorite would be their new Hyundai ad which is they created a song for them. Honestly, that song is such a high tier and it doesn’t sound like an advertisement at all. But my all-time favorite BTS ad would be their Lotte Duty-Free. That ad was so dope! I still watch these advertisements on Youtube every now and then. I do lowkey wishing that these are available on Spotify so that I can listen to it.
Check these two out and you can say that definitely BTS does treat endorsements seriously.
Personally, I do wish that BTS hopefully does create a song for SMART. It would be epic though. Also, if that happens, it would be the first time that BTS will create a song for the Philippines. Don’t mind me lowkey manifesting this. But at least this endorsement is happening and it’s a big win especially for Filipino fans like me.
