BTS released new Japanese album “Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey”

The South Korean boy band, BTS, released their new Japanese album, “Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey”. Their fans, also known as the A.R.M.Y. was really excited for this album.

Ever since BTS premiered their Stay Gold Music Video on Youtube last June 26, 2020, fans all over the world were hyped up for the album. This song is very timely as it is targeted to all who felt lost and alone during the quarantine. As the main message of the song is that even if you’re struggling right now, you should never lose your shine.

Also, a little preview of the song, Your Eyes Tell, was aired last June 13, 2020. The song also was chosen as the official soundtrack for an upcoming Japanese movie. It was co-written, produced, and composed by the “Golden Maknae” of the band, Jeon Jungkook.

 

Map of the Soul 7 The Journey

The new album consists of 13 tracks which also includes the Japanese version of Airplane pt. 2, Black Swan, Dionysus, Idol, Fake Love, Make It Right, ON and Boy with Luv. Also, the previously released hit song Lights was also included. It ‘s now available to stream via Apple Music, iTunes, or Spotify.

 

 

 

After it’s released at exactly 10 PM KST, the album has been breaking records worldwide. The BTS ARMY has been purchasing the whole album in iTunes that continues to chart #1 in many countries. Also, they’re streaming all the songs consistently in all music platforms. Now, BTS’s Your Eyes Tell is currently #1 on the US iTunes song sales chart, and Map Of The Soul: 7 ~ The Journey” is #1 on the album chart. This is really a big thing for the fans as it’s been only 5 hours since the album was released.
