As you can see, I kinda became semi inactive in all of my social media accounts as well as here also in my blog. Umm, well it is because something so personal happened to me and our family. And honestly, it was very hard for me to work and be productive. I lost someone that is really close to me. And it was not due to health reasons or something, it was all accidental and somehow br*tal. Sooooo, yeah it was really heavy and painful for me.
However, my birthday came and I really don’t want to be wasting it. I mean your birthday only comes once per year. That’s why I decided to somehow have a simple celebration and record it. Because of what happened, it really sank to me that you’ll never know when your time comes. Life is indeed short. So might as well do the things you really want to do, follow your passion, and tell your loved ones that you really care for them. I know these things may be general knowledge and so obvious already. But still, we do somehow forget about these things.

♥︎ October 13, 2021 Birthday D-day ♥︎
So yeah, on the day of my birthday, I just purchased some cute balloons, a colorful heart cake from Desserts Bar, had a quick photo shoot and had a sumptuous Korean food dinner with my cousin. Everything was so simple and not my typical kind of birthday celebration but still, I felt so grateful and relieved. Amidst all of what happened, I am still somehow blessed this year. I’ve received a lot of opportunities, my family is all healthy and safe, and I’ve been really focusing more on myself.
Also, even though I just stayed home like really home (yeah, I rarely go out of my house.), I still met a lot of good people which is are now precious to me. And believe me or not, most of them are my online friends. Yeah, maybe you’ll be shocked that I’m saying that my online friends are special and might think that I’m weird. But, I’ve been talking to them for the whole year and they are the ones who comforted me when I really need someone to lean on. We talk about our personal problems and scream about BTS. haha! I hope we’ll meet in person soon and maybe during one of the BTS concerts. *manifesting*

So the weekend came, and I thought of spending it in the mountains. I’m so grateful that my parents’ ongoing project was a small rest house. I can go there anytime if I want some peaceful time and just enjoy the serene ambiance of nature. I’m also glad that two of my cousins joined me there. It was a well-spent weekend with them nothing but just pure chilling and relaxation. The highlight as usual was our mini jacuzzi which is my most favorite thing there. I love dipping my body in warm water and just chilling.
Then dinner came. I was overwhelmed with the food! My mom prepared a lot of my favorite dishes. There was a lot of Korean Food such as Samgyeopsal, Kimchi, Tteokbokki, and Ramyeon. Also, my classic favorites are there which are seafood such as crabs, shrimps, tuna, and many more! It was indeed a sumptuous meal and I’m so happy to share it also with my family and very close relatives. Even though we are just a small group but the celebration is so heartfelt.

♥︎ Permission To Dance BTS Online Concert ♥︎
Then, the concert day came. I was looking forward so much to this day. Even though it is only an online concert but BTS never fails to amaze us with such powerful performances. And timely, my most awaited package was just delivered. I ordered a gaming monitor as a birthday gift for myself. I’ve been wanting to have one coz I thought it would be cool to edit content and watch videos on a much bigger screen. I was thinking that it may also help me motivate more to work and be more inspired.
The gaming monitor I ordered was the AOC AGON AG273FXR Pink Gaming Monitor. I love it soooooo much! It was my best purchase ever! The colors are so vivid and the screen size is perfect for me. Another nice thing about it, you can actually rotate it and turn it into vertical mode. Plus it has RGB backlights. The monitor is sooo cute! I’ll make a separate review blog about it soon. I’m really happy about it!
So, yeah I unboxed the gaming monitor, set it up, and prepare for the concert. I totally enjoyed the whole concert. Watching in 4k was so pleasing to the eyes as the monitor can keep up with the High Definition Quality of the video. It was somehow like watching them in real life. Yeah, let me just dream for a minute there. haha! It was so satisfying to watch especially their Black Swan performance as the set was some kinda have 4D effects. The feathers were like getting out from the screen. The performance is so ethereal!
Yeah, that’s how my birthday month went. A lot of ups and downs but nonetheless I still had fun and created precious memories with everyone. And I’m really glad I’ve been doing what I want to do and been promising myself to do for the past years already which is to go back into vlogging.
