I love wearing berets and I do own a lot of them. But my current favorites are my BTS-inspired berets. In this blog post, I will be showing you my current mini-collection.
So why do I love wearing berets? My main reason? It looks cute! haha. But jokes aside, it adds an extra touch to your entire outfit. Another reason is that it simply adds an illusion to your height and also slims your face. It gives you an illusion of height by creating the impression that your head ends where your hat ends. While ladies with round faces (like me) look ravishing when they wear a beret on the nape of the head. This accessory can also add a sophisticated vibe to your whole look. And did I mention you’ll look cute if you wear one? haha! That’s why I keep on buying different kinds of berets.
And since I saw a shop on Instagram that sells cute berets with BTS themes inspired with it, so why not buy them? I mean berets + BTS = Roxanne will buy it no matter what. haha!
As a result here is my collection of BTS-inspired berets:
♥︎ Spring Day Beret ♥︎
In this beret, there’s a notable lyric embroidered on the top part which is the line “You know it all, you are my best friend”. This beret is special to me since this is one of my first purchases. Other than that, Spring Day is indeed a timeless song that has a very deep meaning. Only ARMYs know about the hidden meaning of it. For a casual listener, this will just sound like a melancholy song that is for an ex-lover and somewhere near to it. However, if you will really research about it you’ll be totally blown away about all the meaning, theories, and how they connected them all together. Another reason why I love this beret is because of the most obvious one which is it is in the color pink. hihi 👉🏻👈🏻

♥︎ You Never Walk Alone Beret ♥︎
This Beret has a unique mint color. I love how the shade is so calming for the eyes. It somehow gives a fresh vibe as it gives a very natural look and also it does stand out very well with your whole outfit. With regards to the embroidered text, that certain phrase is a strong title. It may sound so simple but the weight and impact of it especially to people who are feeling lonely and alone right now because of all the isolation and quarantine phases. This line is very timely and gives a lot of hope to all. That together, we will surpass this and this shall pass soon. So, hang on a bit more.
♥︎ I Purple You Beret ♥︎
My most favorite of them all! Well, it’s pretty obvious as I’ve been wearing it a couple of times already. haha! Why is it my favorite? Simply because of the color and the meaning of it. The color purple has a special meaning for both BTS and ARMY. It was during their concert, BTS V or Kim Taehyung once explained the meaning of the color. He said that Purple is the last color of the rainbow colors, so it means I will trust and love you for a long time. This statement captured the hearts of many fans. And it has been BTS’s habit to say, “I purple you” or “Borahae” in Korean. Also, the detachable ribbon that can be partnered with this, has all the names of the members printed on it. To summarize it all, this is an ultimate ARMY essential. haha!
