Hi, sweeties! I just got back from my recent trip from Siargao. And that place is just so beautiful! I tell you, every corner of this island is so Instagrammable. So if ever you’re going, be sure to pack your best outfits! Here are some style guide you can follow for a hassle-free packing.
Preparing for your next travel is quite stressful. Even to the extent that you don’t know what clothes to bring. If only you can bring your whole wardrobe! Sadly, you can’t girl. You don’t want to have excess baggage especially if you just bought your ticket during the seat sale and you decided to uncheck the check-in baggage allowance option since you’re on “tipid mode”.
In my case, I usually travel with no baggage allowance. It’s because my luggage usually weights only 6-7 kilos only. It’s because I already planned out what outfits I’ll wear during the whole trip. And usually I choose light clothes especially if I’m just travelling to a hot place just like Siargao Island.
So if ever you’re going to Siargao, here are the clothes you can bring:

Knee length dresses are the most comfortable clothes to wear in the island. Since you’re going to the beach, expect the weather to be quite hot. So if ever you’re wearing a knee length dress, you’re body will be able to breathe. Plus to feel the island vibes, choose a tropical printed clothing.
For me, I chose this pineapple printed dress, that I recently bought from my friend for only 250 pesos. Then I paired it with my boho inspired flip-flops which costs for only for 350 pesos. For my accessories, I chose this cherry rattan bag that I bought for only 600 pesos, a flower earrings that is only for 180 pesos, and straw hat which costs for only 250. A total touristy outfit!

Motorcycles are the main mode of transportation in Siargao. So if ever you’re going to rent one, wearing shorts are much preferred than dresses. A cute printed tank top and a denim shorts is the easiest look to achieve for this.
That’s why I chose this pastel colored top that I got from Gaisano Mall for only 150 pesos and my ever trusted denim shorts from Forever 21 which costs for 400 pesos. For my accessories, I got this cute white laced ribbon headband for only 180. Then I just re-used the Black Pink inspired flower earrings from Shop the Wandering Unicorn.

If you’re going to an island hopping, you should never forget to bring your cover-ups. Aside from covering you’re back from the strong winds, it can also be a key for you to have multiple looks with your swimsuit. It can create an illusion that it is already the next day. This idea is also good if ever you only bought 1 swim wear.
Everything I wore here are all thrifted except for the sunnies that are from Owndays. Actually, I got it as a gift from their opening. Check them out in Abreeza Ayala Mall!

Bikinis, one-piece swimsuits, or rash guards should never be forgotten. Of course, you’re going to the beach. You should swim and have fun with the water. It would be a total let down if you’re not going to dip into the crystal clear waters of Siargao.
And I’d just like to highlight my cheap one-piece. I just love it so much! This one costs for only just 250 pesos! So cheap, right? I also bought this one last minute. And I didn’t expect to find the perfect swimwear. Like can you just see it, the one piece is so me 100%!!

♥ Floral Maxi Dress ♥

This one is just an extra option. Maxi dresses are probably the most uncomfortable outfit for that place. However, it would be also the best look for the pictorials! The flowy cloth will look so gorgeous especially if it’s quite windy.
So if ever you decided to wear a maxi dress, just make sure that you’re itinerary in that day would be just chill and not packed. In our case, I wore this when we went to get out brunch in a resort.

So don’t panic that much whenever you’re packing for your trip. If you have these key items that I mentioned, I’m sure you’ll be ready for any picture perfect moment. Plus, mostly are light-weight fabrics. I’m totally comfortable you’ll not be having an excess baggage.
Just a quick tip, rolling your clothes can really save space and more organised compared if you’re gonna just fold it. I’ve been doing this every time I travel.
