Mother’s Day at My Skin Origins

Our moms are really amazing. They can juggle their career, earn money and take good care of the whole family. And because of that, I always look up to my mom. To show my gratitude to her, I decided to celebrate Mother’s Day at My Skin Origins and treat my mom with a pampering session.

Since most mothers prioritize their family first, sometimes they forget to take care of themselves. They just want to devote their time to their own family. They can be really that selfless. I can attest to that since my mother was really a workaholic person. She’s so hardworking to the point even during the holidays, she wants to work all day. She’s so tense if she can’t do anything relating to work or household chores. I sometimes wonder where did she get all her energy from. I guess that’s how mothers love us. She will dedicate her life to her family. To tell you honestly, I’m not an affectionate and expressive kind of person. So I don’t usually show my love and say “I love you, Mama.” to my mom vulgarly. Instead, I find my own way to show my love and gratitude such as treating her at the spa.

So, I brought my mom to My Skin Origins for her to rejuvenate and de-stress a bit. She chose to have her facial, manicure and pedicure since it’s been months she had one.

While the treatment was ongoing, my mom fell asleep immediately. It only shows that her attendant has light hands which you will be comfortable enough to fall into slumber. I was quite amazed about this because my mom actually has difficulty in sleeping. I think the ambiance of the place also helped.

As my mother was receiving her treatment and sleeping, I also availed some services. I chose the RF slimming treatment for the face and also for the tummy. Timely, I will be traveling to Siargao and will be wearing some bikinis that’s why I decided to avail that kind of service.

Look at that chubby face and double chin! hahaha. This will not be gone by 1 treatment only. The attendant told me if I can maintain and continue the treatment every two weeks, after 5 sessions you’ll see the difference already.

Aside from the RF treatment, I also had my manicure and pedicure done. My nails deserve some cleaning after all. I really love how My Skin Origins serves as a one-stop shop for all our beauty needs. 1. Breathe Oxygenated Silky Day Cream – I always use this every day! This is perfect for a no-makeup makeup look. The cream is so light and it has great coverage. It can match also with different skin shades.
2. Stay Glowing Peptide Serum – I super love this product! My skin will be always glowing and bright whenever I use this. I use this as a base before applying the day cream.
3. Hydrate Glowing Peptide Toner Mist – I love the smell of this product. I use this after putting on all of my makeup like a setting spray. Whenever I use this, my friends would comment to me that I look fresh and young.
