When you think of summer, you think of the tropics mostly the vibrant colors of the flowers, green palm leaves and also some pink flamingos. This is what the new collection of Aranáz for Plains and Prints is all about. A total tropical paradise!
Last April 13, 2018, Plains and Prints had a Trunkshow for their latest summer collection in collaboration with Aranáz at the Chimes Boutique Davao. The collection is a celebration of Filipino artistry and tradition. Aranaz and Plains & Prints both support local brands and showcase the talented Filipino craftsmen. The aesthetic of the collaboration is totally perfect for this summer and surely we can be proud of as Filipinos.
Aranaz is a fashion accessories label that was established way back in 1999. Becky, Amina, and Rosanna Aranaz, a mother and daughter trio, are the powerful women behind the Aranaz brand. Hand in hand, they used the traditional Filipino crafts and create modern day accessories specializing in handbags.
Today, Amina Aranaz, the eldest daughter is the current creative director and lead designer. She introduced to us their latest collaboration collection with Plains and Prints. Their collection is all about Aranaz’s signature style which is the tropical colors, and summery prints such as flamingoes, pineapples, and basket weave with the combination of the chic and elegant silhouettes of Plains and Prints.
Here are some sneak peek photos of the collection:
Of course, I wouldn’t miss the chance to take a photo with the pretty designer, Miss Amina Aranaz.
Here’s my top pick of the collection. It’s the Elena clutch bag in orange. I super love it because the color really pops out and can be your staple accessory. Like it can bring life to your basic and simple outfit. The print itself totally scream a fun and unique summer vibe.
So, do you also love the latest collection of Plains and Prints? Which one is your favorite sweeties? ♡
